The 54 Tooth is the rear sprocket fitted to all 1974-75 RL250 production bikes. It is dished to eliminate any spacer that would be necessary to align the rear and the front sprockets. It was all about weight back then. The aluminum sprocket is what is referred to as “in the raw”, as it has no special surface finish. This listing includes six Sprocket Mounting Bolts and three Bolt Locks from Suzuki. These sprockets are as scarce as hen’s teeth. They are very difficult to find for the restoration that needs that last piece. That’s why I sprinkled diamonds (which are, by the way, not included in this listing) around for photos to reinforce the perception of the rarity of this item. I thank you for not running this sprocket on your play RL250. OK, they’re not real diamonds. 1400cc Big Bore Suzuki Hayabusa. I’ve owned for nearly 9 years & covered less than 4k miles. The previous owner was adapting bike for drag racing circuit, fitting a nitrous oxide kit. Only used on the road since and never raced. Unrestricted 220mph model. 1400cc big bore kit, high compression engine with JE pistons. Short velocity stacks in the airbox. Heavy-duty clutch springs. Dual intake cams. Blue Flame Evo exhaust cans x2. Galfer Wavy discs. GSXR1000 front calipers & master cylinder. Ohlins rear adjuster. Ohlins front fork internals. Lightweight lithium battery. Michelin Pilot Road3 tyres (nearly new). Original tool kit. Last three photos show over tension hairlines due to tightening the bolts too much (just plastic damage) and a small missing part of plastic from NOS removal. The bike has travelled only 587 miles since the last service. Over 12 months of MOT – Expires 01.08.2021. Safety check completed by S. M Autos who have advised that a suspension bush is slightly worn with slight movement but not excessive enough to warrant any work.
