FRAME NUMBER GT380 – 15403. ENGINE NUMBER GT380 – 15439. Where do I start? Here for sale or best offer is my GT380 resto/project. I bought this bike into the UK from Holland in 2012 with the intention of doing a full restoration. Please see pics for detail. Bike is in totally original condition. (I have a load of GENUINE NOS) parts to go with it. I WILL NOT SPLIT!!!! So please dont ask. The bike, as said its a 72 J model. Its been stored in my dry heated garage and most of the brightwork is pretty good (BUT SEE ADDITIONAL INFO BELOW). As you can see its in original paint. R/H side panel is cracked (but there is a replacement inc in sale) Seat has been recovered (decent job) and its structually perfect. Rear Mudguard is a NOS item and has been fitted. Pipes are solid but have the usual dinks etc. However, the centre pipe system (both sides) is perfect including the downpipe and collector joint. There are no incorrect parts on it. I rode this bike on a private road, gearbox, clutch and engine as stated are all spot on. I see no reason that with a carb clean, new battery, she will fire up no problem. There are no issues with it mechanically and I suspect from the compression and how sweet it is, along with its mileage its obviously had a rebuild. The airbox is complete and the trunking from airbox to carbs is supple and fits correctly. This is a dead easy project and could be easily put back on the road as a running road going restoration. Considering its age, under the dust, its a nice aged original example. The really juicy nice bits are as follows…… Over the years I have been collecting various bits and pieces to complete a full concourse restoration as is what I did have the intention to do with it. The lot has to go with the bike. I managed to get and dont ask how much I paid for them.. A BRAND NEW AS NEW L/H and R/H pair of exhaust’s. They have NEVER been used and are as new and complete with baffles. They are the correct type for this bike. I also got a new grabrail, headlamp rim, front mudguard(GENUINE NOT REPO) a MINT set of clocks in mph and a R/H side panel (see pics). One key fits ALL locks and all locks work. The bike does not currently have a UK registration. Please check this out if you are unsure but I have had no problems in the past registering pre 2014 Nova legislation imports from the EU. I have no real idea what it is worth and therefore listed it at what I think it might fetch? With a best offer option. Whoever puts the most sensible offer GETS IT! .
