The 54 Tooth is the rear sprocket fitted to all 1974-75 RL250 production bikes. It is dished to eliminate any spacer that would be necessary to align the rear and the front sprockets. It was all about weight back then. The aluminum sprocket is what is referred to as “in the raw”, as it has no special surface finish. This listing includes six Sprocket Mounting Bolts and three Bolt Locks from Suzuki. These sprockets are as scarce as hen’s teeth. They are very difficult to find for the restoration that needs that last piece. That’s why I sprinkled diamonds (which are, by the way, not included in this listing) around for photos to reinforce the perception of the rarity of this item.
